They could pay to access the content either weekly, monthly, annually, etc. There are different vendors for membership sites, such as Member Vault, Podia, etc.
14. Content Creation
Content could be created by you or outsourced to freelancers to create on your behalf. You could also signpost clients to relevant third-party digital or paper content. This shall be via digital links. You shall monetise the process via affiliate marketing and online purchases.
15. Complementary Products and Services
- You could sell digital and physical content.
- You could be an affiliate marketer of third parties which sell digital and physical products and services.
- You could partner with tailors or cloth shops and even shoe shops for formal interview clothes and shoes. When you are partnering with them, you can come to an agreement whereby they give a discount to your clients, and whereby you also make a little profit margin from referring your clients to them.
16. Side Hustles
You could introduce affordable side hustles to your clients. That way, they are able to keep body and soul together while job hunting. This could be internet-related hustles like affiliate marketing or different online businesses. And of course, you might even coach them, and monetise. The coaching content could be accessed from your membership site upon payment.

18. Databases
You need to create relevant databases for job opportunities and also for your clients, including their contact details, etc. Also, you need to have a database for job locations, your success rate, etc. Such data could help in adding value to your doings, and evaluating your performance.
19. Short and long-term plans
Create short and long-term plans for your clients. Short-term plans may help them with immediate survival (bread and butter), and long-term plans shall help them with better-paying long-term jobs.
20. Integrity
Ensure that you don't take undue advantage of your clients by monetising unethically. Remember that if you offer valuable services at reasonable prices, they'll end up becoming your unofficial marketers. They'll be happy to promote your products and services to their family and friends for free. They could also become repeat customers.
21. Target audience
This could be graduates, professionals, educated adults, and undergraduates.
22. Franchise
If the business model is successful, you could sell the franchise to qualified and interested third parties.
23. Feedback mechanisms
You need to include feedback mechanisms on your platforms. That way, you get feedback from your clients on your performance. These could be questionnaires, contact forms, performance emojis, etc. This shall assist you in improving your value proposition, as well as for showcasing your performance.
Also, if you flip this, you might also give feedback to your clients on their performance and activities. For instance, you could give feedback on mock interviews, and on how they are progressing. You could also make suggestions, and signpost them.

26. Training and development
You need to invest in this for yourself and for your team. That way, you could be ahead of your competitors.
27. Once you help a client, does the relationship end?
In my opinion, no, it doesn't. You might be of assistance in helping them with job promotions, searching for other jobs, training, self-employment, side hustles, etc. You could have repeat customers whom you'd help several times. Even after youhave got them a job initially, you’re still very relevant to their development, so that relationship doesn't end.
28. Is this service only for the unemployed?
The answer is no. It's for both employed and unemployed. Employed clients may require help with getting better jobs, promotion, or if their current jobs may be threatened.
Their jobs may be threatened if the company is closing down, or if they are having issues with their manager, etc.

Jack’s Empowerment and Inspiration
40. Price plan
The price plan could increase from £0 to higher amounts. The product at £0 could be a lead magnet to attract suitable clients to your value proposition. It could also be an opportunity for them to have a taste of what you have to offer. For example, if you have a blog or a social media platform, you can put in content there to attract clients. If the value resonates with them, they might decide to take the next steps by going down the sales funnel and becoming paid clients. There are different tiers of paid clients. They can choose what level of access they want, to your service, and make payment accordingly. The more valuable the service they require, the more money they pay.
41. Monetisation plan
There shall be multiple monetisation options at different price points. These shall be available through the sales funnel. There should be different products and services for different wallet sizes.
42. Costing and pricing
Obviously, when you're running a business, you don't want to run at a loss. The whole purpose of your running the business is to make profit. You need to:
• Cost your activities.
- Cost your tools of the trade.
- Cost risks.
- Include your profit margin.
- Insurance.
- Etc.
- So, do your costing effectively, top it up with your profit margin, and then price your products and services. Hopefully, you'll be able to make a profit at the end of the day.
Jack’s Undergraduate Empowerment

45. Affiliate marketing
You could promote relevant third-party products and services on your digital platforms and monetise. You could also offer affiliate marketing of your products and services to interested others.

48. Business collaborations
You could collaborate with other businesses or individuals to complement your weaknesses and leverage shared resources.
49. The importance of being organised
Being organised helps optimise your value proposition. It ensures you spend less time in executing your activities, and allows you to operate more efficiently.

52. Hypothetical Case Study One
A graduate struggles to get employment after three years of graduation. He spends time searching for work without success. The course he studied is not popular in the job market, and he keeps getting rejection letters over and again.
As an employment coach, you assessed his situation. You explored his transferable skills, interests, and hobbies. You also looked at the type of content he regularly watches on social media, to get an insight to his interests. You interviewed him, helped him up-skill by adding additional skills to what he already had, and worked on his mindset. You created an action plan, provided access to useful resources, and assigned him an accountability coach.
You helped with his curriculum vitae and updates. You set targets, managed his expectations, and guided him on authentic side hustles. Within a few months of engaging with you, he got a great job. In his happiness, he promised to send annual donations to your organisation for five years in appreciation. He also promised to spread the word.
53. Hypothetical Case Study Two
An undergraduate loses his dad in a car accident. His dad was the sole breadwinner, and survival for the family becomes a big issue. He had to drop out of university and started doing odd jobs.
Upon approaching you, you devised an action plan. You assessed his skills and potential, and referred him to useful and affordable online courses. You worked on his mindset, directed him to relevant jobs, and gave him access to relevant resources at a discounted price.
You also researched and referred him to scholarship opportunities. You communicated with his university about his predicament and requested a deferral of his university studies.
Within a couple of years, he returned to university, qualified with a second-class upper division, and with your assistance, he got a great job.
He has since become an ambassador for your brand and, in addition to making regular donations to your organisation, he also signposted others who could benefit from your services.
54. Unique Selling Point (USP):
This business is a low-cost, high-impact model that offers immense value to individuals in the job market. It is accessible globally, making it a valuable and scalable venture.

57. More about the “side hustles.”
It's like a slang—quote and unquote—but basically, when you have your main hustle, that's your main job. The side hustle is like the part-time job or a complementary job. For example, if you're not earning much in your main job and you wish to complement your income, then you might do a side hustle. For all intents and purposes, assuming someone is an administrator or in a job where they're not paid very well, and they want to supplement their income, they might do something like affiliate marketing, e-commerce, or something similar on the side.
And it's not just for those with lower incomes. There might be people who are earning big money and ambitious, but still want more, to complement their income. Or they’re in a good job, but it's not really where they want to be. They're just doing the job to tick all the boxes and put bread and butter on the table, but they don’t have the full conviction to go wholeheartedly into their side hustle.
So, they might use the side hustle as a way to test the waters. When the side hustle starts growing big, they shall disengage from their full hustle and make their side hustle a full-time hustle.
58. How does this concept of side hustles relate to the idea of the digital employment coach?
My thinking is, for example, if you have somebody who is unemployed, maybe, a graduate or an undergraduate, and you need something to put bread and butter on the table; or maybe you've been unemployed for an extended period; you lost your job, or you haven’t even got a job yet.
If you're going to seek coaching with the employment coach, obviously, looking for work normally takes time and doesn’t always happen overnight.
So, someone who’s been out of work may need something, however small, to put bread and butter on the table in the interim, while they continue their job search. The whole idea is to guide them and coach them on that side hustle, so at least some money comes in, and they can continue their job search.
Apart from that, even if the side hustle seems small now, if they try it out and resonate with it, they may decide to continue along that path and make more money. So that’s the relationship. This mainly relates to the person looking for employment, rather than the coach.
59. Is this profit-sharing formula intended for the employment coaches, or is it for the clients?
It's actually for the business—the stakeholders in the business. Now, depending on how the business is funded, it might be funded through investors, collaborators, etc. Some of the stakeholders might not even put in money; they could contribute effort, expertise, or other resources.
In order to share the profits, you have to quantify what everybody is bringing to the table, and then you share the profit accordingly. This Profit Sharing Formula App which I’ve been talking about, is an app I aim to create, by God's grace.
Basically, it’s a novel way of sharing profits. You quantify what different people are contributing, and then you share the profit ethically, fairly, and transparently with all stakeholders. As long as you’re putting something of value into the business, you’re sure to get something out of it. Even if, at some point, you stop contributing to the company—whether you pass on, fall ill, or resign, you shall continue to receive residual income for a while. What you've contributed in the past will count towards future rewards, even though it may be decremental.
