The Problem

Problems abound everywhere; they come in different form and to different communities. There are no complete answers to life’s unending  problems. Some see the problems, and do nothing. Some see problems, and frustrate those who aim to find solutions. Some, perpetually find everything wrong with everything and everyone but fail to propose solutions. At the end of the day, problems may not be solved.

The Idea

While people make little or no effort to find solutions to problems or while there a people or organisations who don’t have a clue to the solutions, you could not only critic people and organisations but find and suggest lasting and practical solutions to the problems and then get paid for your time, effort and expertise. You may be like a consultant or someone of sort or probably a think tank.

Leveraging Negative Critics

Negative critics usually find things wrong with most ideas. Generally, they don’t proffer solutions. Their mindset is a bit different from yours. You could however leverage them by them finding loop holes. That’s half your job done. You could do the other half by finding solutions to the loop holes.

Methodology

Increase credibility by having a portfolio of work done. You could seek these or be referred. In the event of seeking these, be on the watch out for good case studies. Do constructive critiques, publicize as necessary, get testimonials. As time goes by, you’ll get noticed. Your charges could be less, initially and this could increase as the demand for your services increase. You could outsource as necessary and involve freelancers as necessary.

Benefits and Opportunities

  • Monetisation opportunities
  • Opportunities to make impact
  • Recognition opportunities
  • Adding value to organisations and society
  • Job creation opportunities
  • Wealth creation opportunities
  • Opportunities to expand knowledge, experience and exposure.
  • Networking opportunities
  • Franchising opportunities etc

Threats

  • You might step on toes.
  • Clients may not pay.
  • You may get it wrong, sometimes, you may make enemies.
  • There could be competition.
  • There could be staffing issues.
  • There could also be funding issues. etc.

Conclusion

The above is just an idea. It’s up to you to perfect it and to suit it to you individual goals. With the availability of the internet, this idea could be applied to non traditional terrains. You could act as a consultant as well as a go-to person, for solutions to problems. You could also monetise by creating valuable content.
